New Ride Configuration for 2010!

We will still have a rolling closure for the entire route…but we will have a hybrid ride with the first part being a 22 mile moderate paced ride through Chinatown, downtown, USC, Coliseum, South LA, East LA before returning to the police academy. After a brief rest the advanced group will take off again on a newly designed scenic and more challenging 31 mile route at an aggressive pace. Advanced riders will still get 54 total miles of unique traffic free touring in Los Angeles.

Each registered rider will receive their entry into the fully supported ride with rolling closure, along with lunch, t-shirt, finisher medal and raffle entry into our fantastic raffle with tons of prizes. We continue to support Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Bloodmobile Fund. While we have been very successful in achieving our goal of buying the first-ever bloodmobile and box truck for CHLA blood drives…more needs to be done to help save kid’s lives. This year we are going to purchase a van for staff to go to blood drives and hope to continue funding this effort that makes a difference in kids lives every day.
